Chris Catalano

Chris grew up on the North Fork of Long Island, spending his summers boating in Mattituck and exploring the Peconic Bay. He began his career at Strong’s Marine in 2017 as a dockhand, where he built a strong foundation in boating and customer service through 2021. Driven by his passion for the water, Chris went on to earn his U.S. Coast Guard 100-ton Captain’s License in Fort Lauderdale. He then spent more than three years working professionally on private yachts—from an 86’ San Lorenzo to a 140’ Westport—gaining valuable hands-on experience as both Mate and Captain. Now back with Strong’s Marine, Chris is excited to help clients find the right boat and share the knowledge he’s gained from years on the water. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, fishing, traveling, and exploring Long Island’s bays and harbors. Chris looks forward to connecting with fellow boaters and passing along his passion for life on the water.
